Services
Support. Celebrate. Uplift.
We envision our services as a partnership with our clients to find solutions toward healing. Our agency currently offers five sectors of services: Youth Services, Residential Services, Victim Services, Mental Health Services, and Healing & Partnership Services.
WE OFFER HOLISTIC HEALING SERVICES
If we think about the way that we see violence, we understand that those who are most deeply impacted may be labeled as harm-doers themselves. Success for our survivors looks like a comprehensive and collaborative cultural approach to ending generational cycles of violence. We aim to provide healing that not only supports our clients in the now but systematically participates in dismantling some of the root causes of violence. By reimagining social support groups, interventions, individualized therapy, advocacy assistance, and collaborations with local agencies; we are able to serve some of the most vulnerable victims in the most appropriate and effective ways.
CASE MANAGEMENT AND ADVOCACY
Our advocates take a holistic approach to case management and advocacy here at We All Rise. There are very few barriers we aren't willing to walk through with our clients if they want to venture that way. We also make it a priority to collaborate across agencies to ensure our clients are aware of all services available to them.
Housing
Whether you are looking for a place to live, move from where you currently are, or needing support in your current home, our Case Managers and Housing Coordinator can help!
Employment
Whether you are looking to get into the workforce, need a change of job, or working on your resume and employable skills (computer, interview, communication etc..) your case manager can help!
and much more..
We encourage our clients to talk regularly with their case manager about what it is they need from us. If you are looking for assistance with it, we want to know about it. We have assisted clients in furthering their education, creating business plans, or pursuing their drivers license.
INDIVIDUALIZED THERAPY
Mental health support is an essential part of holistic healing, but looks very different for everyone. Some people need group support , individualized clinical support, or personalized time with their advocate. For those that qualify for services, we are able to offer multiple approaches to individual and family healing.
We invite our clients to view therapy as a 45-minute block of time solely dedicated to themselves, as well as their healing, whether they are coming in as an individual, a couple, or as a family unit.
This time is devoted to you, and only you.
We also recognize that some individuals may not feel comfortable with clinical mental health, due to the historical limitations and lack of access to equitable health care. We also observe that when African Americans are granted access to mental health services it is often mandated, coerced, or transactional. Those that are labeled harm-doers have also been harmed themselves, and are no less deserving of holistic healing.
The We All Rise approach to clinical mental health therapy goes beyond traditional beliefs, to acknowledge the historical erasure of black trauma, the realities of racial battle fatigue, and the truths that are possible when the clinician does the work that allows for centering the importance of the honest and irrefutable Black Experience.
Therapy has been shown to have benefits for individuals who undertake it. Therapy often leads to a significant reduction in feelings of distress, increased satisfaction in interpersonal relationships, greater personal awareness and insight, increased skills for managing stress and resolutions to specific problems.
Our mental health staff is able to provide sessions to individuals (adolescents, teens, and adults), couples, and families. If you are looking to receive individualized mental health services, contact your case manager today. Never been to our organization? Check out our intake hours.
We provided over 300 individualized therapy sessions in 2020.
GROUP SESSIONS
Healing happens in a variety of ways. Healing journeys are not a one size fits. We All Rise hosts a wide range of groups to assist clients on their healing journey. Some groups are open (meaning you can attend at any time), and some are closed (we develop cohorts that participate in a 6-8 week group), so please click on the links below to learn more about our current groups. If you have any questions, please ask your case manager. Have never been to our organization, but are you interested in groups? Check out our intake hours.
