Maryam supports the financial and administrative heart of We All Rise with precision, integrity, and intention. As Executive Finance Assistant, she manages records, assists with budgeting and grant tracking, and provides cross-functional support to both the executive and finance teams. A Milwaukee native studying Finance and Economics, Maryam brings a powerful blend of lived experience, academic rigor, and service-oriented values to her role. Her work helps sustain the systems that fuel community healing, and she approaches every task with a belief that financial clarity is a form of empowerment.
Maryam's Story
Maryam Turner (she/her) joined We All Rise in October 2024 and brings a wealth of administrative and financial experience to her role as Executive Finance Assistant. She supports the executive director's office and finance department through organizing and analyzing records, preparing key financial documents, assisting in agency travel plans, and coordinating client service requests.
A Milwaukee native, Maryam is pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics. Her background includes office management and strong customer service skills equates to her excellent analysis methods and problem solving skills.
Maryam is passionate about using her talents to uplift her community. As a longtime activist and someone who has faced her own challenges, she’s honored to be part of the work to create meaningful, lasting change in the Green Bay community and beyond. She believes financial empowerment is key to progress—and she’s proud to help make that happen.
