About
We All Rise: African American Resource Center is a culturally specific, survivor-centered nonprofit rooted in the brilliance, beauty, and resilience of the African American community. Located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, we walk with survivors through healing, housing, safety, and beyond—offering holistic, equity-centered services designed to meet the needs of those navigating at the margins of society. Our advocacy spans domestic and sexual violence support, trauma-sensitive youth programming, mental health and daily crisis services, a 24-hour crisis line, education and financial literacy, and a 49-room transitional living facility for men. From our helping closet to our youth and job centers, every program is grounded in our 3 I’s: intentional, impactful, and involuted. This deep, well-planned approach reflects our grassroots origins and our commitment to culturally grounded care for all communities in Brown County.

Mission
We All Rise exists for the collective liberation of African Americans navigating at the margins of society.

We believe healing is a right, not a privilege—and we work every day to disrupt harm, restore dignity, and build a world where Black people are safe, seen, and supported.
Vision
To create and help restore a vibrant African American community.

Through uplifting, skill building, and intentionally targeting root causes of systemic oppression, we actively promote the healing of all.

Our Story
Founded in Green Bay, Wisconsin, We All Rise began as a dream to radically reimagine what community safety and survivor support could look like—when led by, and for, Black survivors. What started with a vision has become a full-service organization transforming lives every day.

Our story is one of resilience, community organizing, spiritual grounding, and a refusal to accept systems as they are.
